Fee / Conditions
Fee
Our services are generally invoiced on the basis of an agreed hourly fee according to the time spent. Our hourly rate depends on the value of the interest and the experience or specialisation of the consultant entrusted with the mandate. The hourly rate is usually between CHF 180.00 and CHF 400.00. In addition to the fee, a small flat-rate fee of 3% (photocopies, telephone charges, postage, etc.) of the invoiced amount is charged. Actual cash expenses (travel expenses, special courier services, etc.) will be invoiced separately. Furthermore, our fees are generally subject to VAT (currently 8.1% VAT).
Invoicing
Usually a payment on account is agreed. The final invoice is usually issued after completion of the mandate. In the case of large or particularly complex assignments, partial invoices are issued on a monthly or quarterly basis. We are happy to discuss your preferences in this regard with you.
Legal expenses insurance
If you have legal expenses insurance, please contact them in advance and check whether your insurance covers the service you intend to use from us. Ask the legal expenses insurance company in good time for a written statement of costs so that unpleasant surprises can be avoided. Please note that we can only represent you in legal disputes in areas of law where no lawyer’s patent is required. This would be the case, for example, in tax law..
Free legal aid
If you do not have sufficient financial means to pay for a legal representative and the costs of litigation, we can apply to the competent court for free administration of justice. If necessary, the costs of the proceedings and the legal representative will then be paid from the court’s coffers for the time being. In any case, the prerequisites are that the client is insolvent and that there is a chance of success in the dispute itself.
